About Kitsap County Chapter of NARPM

Welcome to the Kitsap County Chapter of NARPM.  We are a group of professional property management firms that seek to provide outstanding service to the Kitsap County area of Washington.  Our main areas of service include Bainbridge Island, Bremerton, Kingston, Port Ludlow, Port Orchard, Poulsbo and Silverdale.  

Our Mission

The mission of the Kitsap County Chapter of NARPM is to promote integrity and professionalism in the Property Management Industry through education, networking and by personal example.

  1. Building Membership:  Our chapter is small but has many dedicated members.  We will try every year to expand our membership by educating the public on what we stand for.
    1. Our ethics and values should show our fellow Property Managers that they will benefit from education, sharing knowledge and the camaraderie that we have for each other.
    2. We are here to help others in our field expand their vision and to educate our members with the newest trends, legislation and state laws that pertain to Property Management.
    3. We plan to do this by continuing to contact all old and new Property Management companies by phone and email.
    4. We will be offering a free lunch to attend one of our meetings for them to socialize and listen to one of our great speakers.
    5. We plan to develop a program to maintain membership of Affiliate Members.
  2. Community Leadership:  Our chapter members will be the local rental industry experts by:
    1. Being aware of legislative changes.
    2. Maintaining high ethical standards for members.
    3. Offering educational opportunities for members.
    4. Having our local NARPM Chapter be involved in community activities through participation and/or donation of funds.
    5. Consider offering classes to our tenants on tenant responsibilities, landlord responsibilities and deposit refunds.
  3. Charitable Activities: We believe that giving back to our community is a way that we can contribute to other organizations that directly help our community members.  It is our hope that we will make a difference in Kitsap County by:
    1. Continue Holiday Food drives for our local food banks
    2. Continue Christmas Angel Program
    3. Consider adding another food drive during the year
    4. Determine if the chapter is willing to begin another charitable program through donation of time and/or funds.
  4. Legislative:  To be a link between State and Local Government and the Residential Property Management Industry by bringing legislative issues to the Chapter in the following manners:
    1. Set up a "Call to Action" network to respond to proposed legislation.
    2. Maintain a call list of local and state legislators involved with landlord-tenant issues.
    3. Presenting NARPM to legislators as a professional, experienced voice in landlord-tenant issues.
  5. Education and Certification:  Our chapter is focused on continuing education and certification of our members. We believe knowledge is key in our business.
    1. Our chapter plans to present at least 4 clock-hour classes per year for our members and for the community to attend.
    2. To continue to have knowledgeable speakers at our meetings.
    3. To promote certification classes at our Regional Conference and National Convention.
    4. Give our members speakers that are exciting and up to date with current trends and issues.
    5. Contact NARPM about additional certification classes in our area.
