<\/a>Margaret has been a Property Manager since 2005.\u00a0 Her career began in Petaluma, CA where she worked as a property manager managing about 150 properties in the beginning.\u00a0 When she left the company in 2016 and was managing close to 500 residential properties.<\/p>\nMargaret joined NARPM® in December 2007 and became involved in the Marin\/Sonoma NARPM® Chapter.\u00a0 She was Secretary of the chapter and\u00a02 years later<\/span><\/span>\u00a0was\u00a0elected President.\u00a0 She served as president of the chapter for 2 years.\u00a0 In June of 2012 she received her RMP (Residential Management Professional) designation.<\/p>\n Aloha and welcome to NARPM’s BIG ISLAND WEST<\/strong> Chapter of Residential Property Managers.<\/p>\n Our membership represents a group of residential property managers who strive for excellence in their field by keeping up to date on current legislative issues, landlord-tenant code and fair housing laws. \u00a0We follow NARPM’s Code of Ethics<\/em>\u00a0to ensure the best possible client relations and professionalism.<\/p>\n Previously known as “Big Island Chapter”, we were the first NARPM® chapter in the state, with the Oahu chapters following suit. \u00a0Over time, \u00a0the Hawaii Island chapter realized the need for another chapter so that both East and West Hawaii would be best\u00a0represented.<\/p>\n Members of NARPM® are individuals who are engaged in the management of residential properties as agents for others, licensed in those states that require licensing.\u00a0 By being a member of NARPM® it shows those individuals are serious about there profession and continuing to educate themselves through this organization.\u00a0<\/p>\n Vendors that are affiliated with NARPM® are selected based on their professionalism and credentials to serve the needs of maintaining residential rental properties.<\/p>\n If you are a property manager in our local area or are just curious to learn more about our industry we encourage you to join us at one of our monthly meetings.
